There are going to be days when you’re on top of the world. Hyperfocused, productive, maybe even kind of smug about how well you’re holding it together.
And then there are the other days.
You know the ones—where everything feels a bit heavier, a bit louder, a bit more tangled. Maybe you’re tired. Maybe your brain is bouncing between 300 tabs and none of them are loading. Maybe you just… don’t have it in you today.
And that’s okay.
Really. It is okay.
Along this neurospicy journey, the ups and downs aren’t detours—they’re part of the path. It’s normal to have good days and rough ones. It’s normal to feel everything all at once. Or nothing at all.
What matters is not letting the highs or lows take over the steering wheel.
Feel what you’re feeling. Let yourself be in it for a bit if you need to. Cry, rage, nap, stim, journal, draw little spirals in the margins. Then, gently—when you’re ready—set it down and keep going.
And hey, if today didn’t go the way you hoped? If you didn’t cross anything off your list, or even make a list?
Don’t blame yourself. Don’t spiral into shame.
You are not a productivity machine. You are a human—complex, brilliant, messy, miraculous. Grace belongs to you. Not just on the good days, but especially on the hard ones.
So breathe. Hydrate. Be soft with yourself.
And maybe tomorrow, or maybe the next day, you’ll try again.
And that’ll be enough.
